The street art of Nambucca Head boasts a gorgeously textured and playful mosaic mural named “Fish and Chips”; this contemporary piece depicts a rolling wall of marine life encapsulated in azure glass. Fish and rolling waves emerge from the cement in 3D magnificence, demanding attention to every patterned scale and fragment. The work is 50 meters long and was created by mosaicist Guy Crosley and a team of local artists.

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Rio de Janeiro is not only famous for the Christ the Redeemer statue, but for its adornment with a magnificent display of color that lives up to the lively and vivacious culture of Brazil. The Santa Teresa Steps, by artist Jorge Selaron is a series of steps adorned with over 2000 mosaic tiles consisting of glass, ceramic and mirror, some of which are hand painted by the technical artist. The piece is so popular and loved, it has become a trademark of the Brazilian city.
