Ahhh, the spring is here and most of us are already having “su-su-su-summer time, summertime” crisis. Whether you’ve gained some cozy cushions during hibernation and your treadmill is losing a battle with dust, or your DMs are packed with unopened messages from friends and you are just about ready to build a bonfire and go skinny dipping, those summer vibes are definitely in the air.

Needless to say, not all of us are fortunate enough to have our very own pools, so we can’t splash our summer feels all over some custom-made pool mosaic artworks. However, we can still do the same thing indoors and make our indoor mosaic art as beachy and as sunny as it gets.

The best way to incorporate and express your love for the beach and summertime through mosaic artwork is a matter of personal preference. You can go with color and simply gravitate towards yellow, pink, and bright blue when choosing your mosaic art. Open and vibrant colors will bring those playful summer vibes into your home.

However, keep in mind that by going for color instead of a specific topic, you’re opening space for some necessary change of décor in your home as well. Some splashes of color are to be expected throughout the room so that the artwork doesn’t end up looking misplaced or awkward. So, if you are going for this particular style, keep in mind that you will have to dive into your budget for some throw pillows, vases, or tablecloths.

The other way to do it is to go with the topic. Beach, sun, water, sea-life, and seaside towns, are all perfect topics to bring some summer feel into your living space. You can’t go wrong with any of those regardless of the mosaic material you opt for. My personal favorite is always glass, especially when it comes to these sunny themes. Glass will reflect the light and give your mosaic artwork a certain whimsical quality that will go perfectly with the summery feels you are trying to convey.
