NOT JUST ANY NEUTRALS, WARMING NEUTRALS
Neutrals are always trendy as they are a great canvas for any color pallet you may have in mind. However, in 2024 neutrals are making a shift from off-whites and grays to some warmer, honey-hued shades. One of the main reasons why the neutrals are warming up in 2024 is because of the ever-growing popularity of LED lighting. Although terrific in so many ways, LED lighting really impacts color and it makes everything appear much cooler. One of the ways to balance that is by using some warm neutral hues as a canvas for your interior.
DARK PINK AND DEEP RED
We are starting off strong with some awesome, brave shades. Rich and dark colors will play an integral role in 2024. Contrasting the very popular neutrals with some bold dark fuschia and fandango tones will look amazing regardless of the overall interior style you are going for. Splashes of ruby and currant red on your pale yellow or mushroom gray backdrop will make every guest stop and admire your sense of style and elegance.
THE BLUES ARE COMING BACK
The past couple of years were all about the verdant hues of nature and that was all fun and dandy, but it was bound to become boring eventually. Judging by the design expert’s predictions we are about to witness a transition in popularity from greens to all shades of blues, and we are here for it. If you want your space to look trendy in 2024, you better start looking for some Tiffany and Azure blue pieces to add to it. If you are redecorating your whole interior you can always start with some less flashy shade of blue, such as Tufts or St. Patrick’s blue for your walls, and work with different color pallets from there.
LAVENDER FLOWERS AND PLUM JAMS
Yeah, it will be purples all year round in 2024. Unlike other colors on this list, purple is also expected to rock the fashion scene next year. This marvelous color has always been linked to wealth and royalty, but designers intend to give it more “spice” by boldly incorporating it into contemporary settings. So think periwinkle walls, with violet curtains and lilac cushions, or something along those trendy lines…
IS IDIOMATIC RUST…RUSTIC? NO, IT’S RUSTY FOR A REASON.
Maximalists, rejoice! Non-toxic rusty shades will be taking over next year, adding warmth and turning heads. Rust is cozy and inviting, and paired with some metallics and wood, it will look as stunning as Harry Styles in a sequin jumpsuit. If you have an at-home office space you should think about going for some copper-colored walls. They will give your office some cozy vibes, but it will also look chic and on-point.
