Outdoor Mosaic Art At Its Best
The summer is upon us (well, those of us in the northern hemisphere) and it’s time to go out and chill in the garden have some guests over on the patio, and start a book while the fountain hums in the background. Needless to say, we can just go out and hit it in their overgrown jungle that we call garden just as it is. The winter left its trace and it’s time for our garden to get a bit of a revamp Chris Pratt style.
Now you are probably wondering what is the quickest, most expeditious way for you to glam up your beloved outdoor space. Is it by bulldozing through your greenery and creating a pond? Investing thousands in new garden furnishings? Putting on your gloves and replanting all of your gorgeous floral arrangements? Nah. It’s none of that.
In fact, you will get the most fabulous result just by taking the path of least resistance. In this case, that path is coated in mosaic tiles.
If you want to embellish your garden and give it a permanent glow-up, mosaic art is the way to go. Here are five major ways of using mosaic art to decorate your outdoor space.
MOSAIC PATHWAY
Garden pathways are usually either lengthy slabs of concrete or pebbled
routes through the shrubbery. However, they don’t have to be that boring at all. Creating a gorgeous mosaic pattern or artwork on an otherwise monotonous pathway is a piece of cake.
MOSAIC SCULPTURE
Mosaic sculpture allows seemingly endless diversity when it comes to shapes, colors, sizes, and materials. These gorgeous artworks will work especially well if you have lush greenery in your garden, so mosaic sculpture doesn’t look like a misplaced focal point. Once it is set among some rich green flora, your sculpture will tell its tale properly.
MOSAIC FURNITURE
Decorating your old garden furniture with some stunning mosaic artwork isn’t difficult or pricey, AND it will do miracles for your outdoor space. You can do just discreet mosaic borders and create a unique frame for your furniture, or you can go all in and embellish it with nature scenes or abstract mosaic art.
MOSAIC BIRD BATHS
This one is by far my favorite garden upgrade. It is swift, easy, and always on point. Mosaic bird baths were the “it” thing for gardens thousands of years ago and they still are to this day. You can choose any kind of artwork, but I’m always a sucker for vibrant blues and greens when it comes to mosaic tiles for bird baths.
MOSAIC RUG
Another way to upgrade your seating area is by placing a mosaic rug on it. Once you’ve placed your furniture on a mosaic rug, your reading and relaxation time will get a whole new vibe. With a mosaic rug, your garden seating area will look like a whole little separate universe of its own.
Last but not least, if chosen well, mosaic tiles are great for outdoor upgrades because they are durable and resistant. Once you’ve decorated your garden with one of our mosaics, you can be sure that it will be there for years to come.
